Sex & Nudity

  • Kissing between a man and a woman and they date. The woman extremely briefly appears in a dress that reveals some of her buttocks.

Violence & Gore

  • Occasional fantastical violence and humorous pratfalls.
  • There are numerous fisticuffs. There is no blood shown in the film. In one scene, Macedon is humorously carrying a large explosive across a dock, accidentally disposing it by throwing it in the street when a woman with a stroller who walks by.
  • At one point, Corrin watches as Macedon explodes; he is shown to have survived.
  • While hanging from a helicopter above the sea, Macedon is attacked by a shark biting his crotch. 
  • Heath Psycho shoots a flamethrower at a meeting with the villains, burning them (they are reduced to a pile of soot, but return alive in the next scene). 
  • An unnamed minion grunt falls into a death trap, which catapults him out a window, and into the sea, where he is ripped to pieces by an underwater explosive. While no gore is shown, the result is obvious and an explosion is seen. 


  • None


  • Alcohol is shown during scenes in the tavern that serves as the villains' hideout. A man and a woman smoke while having dinner.
  • Macedon mentions alcoholic delusions.

Frightening/Intense Scenes

  • Six of the adversaries' henchmen are murdered: five simply disappear during a fight scene, while another is thrown through an open window out into the ocean where he collides with an explosive cephalopod and blows up. There are two scenes where men are turned into piles of colorful dust when the villains use a "death machine" on them.

MPAA Rating: PG-13 for frenetic comedic action and partial nudity.


The movie has received an 82% on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics and audiences alike highly praising the conflict, reference to the Entrance Comics novels (Mace-Flyer, Mace-Ferry, Mace-Bike, etc.), sight jokes, good nature, colored fun, and occasionally campiness, but criticized the weakness and also occasionally campiness, describing it as "Unbearably silly compared to how serious the Macedon comics are".
