Episodes[]

Jurassic Park[]

  1. Paleontological Prologue: Industrialist John Hammond has built an animal theme park of cloned dinos, Jurassic Park, on Isla Nublar. While handling a caged raptor, a hapless worker falls inside and comes face-to-face with the beast. Will the man make it out with his life, and what will happen to the park's future if he doesn't? (Destruction Count: Sand is displaced, a hole is broken through a hill, rock is broken off of walls.)
  2. Welcome... to Jurassic Park: The gathering touring Jurassic Park is joined by the founder's grandchildren, Lex and Tim Murphy, for a trip through the park, while the founder, Hammond, manages the tour from the control room. (Destruction Count: Leaves are torn off of trees, a hole is smashed through a concrete wall, trees are cut down, a hole is broken through a hill.)
  3. Total Shutdown: Bribed by a rival of Jurassic Park, the lead programmer shuts off the park's security to enter the storage room and steals eggs, keeping them inside a shaving cream can. As such, the park's electric fences go out during a tropical cyclone, letting the park's T. Rex escape and attack its visitors. Will the Tyrannosaurus Rex eat everyone alive, or will at least some of them flee? (Destruction Count: An electric fence is torn apart, mud is displaced, a bathroom is destroyed, holes are broken through a tree, a tree is cut down.)

Behind the Scenes[]

  • The videos were made out of order; Galley Getaway was the first one created and uploaded.
  • The glass effects in Galley Getaway and Control Room Chaos were made with broken plastic from a pen.
  • The Spinosaurus is a Tyrannosaurus Rex with a dragon wing piece representing the crested spine.
  • The series was on hiatus for almost three years, partly because Brendan was working on LEGO Batman. Another reason why the hiatus was so long was because he doesn’t have LEGO dinosaur skeletons or an acceptable substitute to them (this reason is specifically in regards to The Final Escape).
  • While Galley Getaway and Control Room Chaos were based on scenes from the Jurassic Park film and the LEGO video game, they were otherwise unscripted.

Parents Guide[]

Sex & Nudity[]

  • Dinosaur embryos are depicted but are not sexual.
  • We see a banana and two cherries put together to make a shape, before the banana droops. The shape is a smiley/frowning face.

Violence & Gore[]

  • Humans use guns (tranquilizer and otherwise) to attack dinosaurs, which rarely results in death.
  • Micro-raptors/pteranodons explode with visible blood when shot in the Dinosaur Evacuation episodes.
  • Frozen dinosaurs and insects/arachnids are dismembered in the Dinosaur Evacuation episodes.
  • Dinosaurs stab and eat human characters, with occasional blood effects. Some attacks imply that human victims are being decapitated or disemboweled, but these acts are not depicted.
  • Battles between dinosaurs involve lunging and chewing each other's throats and other areas open (blood and flesh are depicted). Cuts, gashes, and even missing flesh (with exposed ribs) appear on the dinosaurs during fights. There are almost no decapitations, as bites to the head typically result in little more than bleeding snouts and cheeks; similarly, there are no on-screen disembowelments, as bites to the torso simply show ribs and bloody cuts. Fresh blood is typically depicted in dinosaur injuries.
  • Dinosaurs devour tourists in the Jurassic World episodes. No blood or injuries are depicted during the devouring, although victims flail around and scream in a somewhat realistic manner.
  • Animals are fed to the dinosaurs, and a bloody animal leg is depicted in one scene.
  • Gennaro is consumed by the Tyrannosaurus Rex completely onscreen. He is heard screaming as his head is swallowed and bitten by the Tyrannosaurus' jaws, before getting thrashed around fiercely, his legs bouncing around. No blood is depicted.
  • A Gallimimus is decapitated by a Tyrannosaurus Rex onscreen; bleeding is depicted.
  • Mr. Arnold's mutilated arm is depicted with blood coming out of it.
  • Robert Muldoon is pounced by a velociraptor and ripped to pieces. A high-pitched scream is heard and we briefly see Muldoon's head between the raptor's jaws.
  • Eddie is ripped in half by two Tyrannosaurus Rexes who drag him out of a vehicle (blood briefly sprays).
  • A hunter is attacked by compies in a long scene that involves them clustering over him, complete with closeups of them chewing on his mouth. The hunter shakes them off and tries to flee, only for the compies to crowd over his body again and kill him (we see blood staining a river he is next to).
  • A man is stepped on by Tyrannosaurus Rex and sticks to the sole of her foot. The crushed body is eventually scrapped off and falls in a pool of mud.
  • A velociraptor is kicked out of a window and speared by a large piece of wood (blood is visible).
  • A dog gets eaten by a Tyrannosaurus Rex (nothing bloody or gory is depicted).
  • A man screams before a Tyrannosaurus Rex chews on his legs and feeds him to an infant Tyrannosaur (this is offscreen but still disturbing).
  • One man gets seized and eaten onscreen by the Spinosaurus and his blood splatters on a crashed airplane's windshield.
  • A man is attacked offscreen by velociraptors and we hear him scream. We cut back to the man, who is writhing along the ground, wounded, before a raptor puts her foot on his back and impales its toe claw through his spine (the man shrieks again). The man is killed when one of the raptors grabs his head in its jaws and twists it, snapping his neck.
  • A worker is attacked by the Indominus Rex and has his legs torn off onscreen, although no bleeding is depicted during this part; however, blood is later shown on the Indominus' teeth.
  • A commander is picked up by the Indominus Rex and screams until she drops him in a creek. The commander flails around, almost drowning, before standing up and getting crushed by the Indominus' foot (no blood or gore is depicted).
  • The Indominus Rex kills many soldiers, crushing some against trees and devouring a man while tearing him to pieces. The kills are largely hidden behind tree branches, but a ton of blood rains down through the leaves.
  • An ankylosaurus is bitten and slashed by the Indominus Rex (bloody wounds are on prominent display), before getting its neck snapped onscreen.
  • A pteranodon breaks the windshield of a helicopter with its beak and impales a soldier through the heart.
  • A woman is seized by pteranodons, tossed around, and drop in a large aquarium. The pteranodons dive at the woman and repeatedly bite her until a Mosasaurus swims up and eats both her and one of them.
  • One of the villains gets his hand eaten by a velociraptor and screams while crying. The man's death is not depicted, but we see blood splatter all over a window.
  • A velociraptor gets shot by a soldier's bazooka and explodes amidst gory chunks of flesh.
  • A velociraptor is tossed through the window of a restaurant and lands on a barbecue grill. The grill quickly explodes, burning the raptor alive.
  • One of the velociraptors is grabbed in the Indominus Rex's mouth and gets deeply impaled by the Indominus Rex's teeth with the flesh audibly getting torn up. The raptor immediately goes limp between the Indominus' jaws and has her dead body tossed away.
  • The Indominus Rex is slashed and bitten by a T. Rex and a raptor until she is a gashed, bloody mess, before getting her throat bitten by the Mosasaurus and dragged underwater while screaming.
  • Large mounds of dinosaur feces are depicted and investigated.

Profanity[]

  • There is no profanity.

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking[]

  • Tranquilizer darts are used to sedate dinosaurs. Not a concern, although they resemble syringes.

Frightening/Intense Scenes[]

  • The Indominus Rex stalking Owen and Claire in the ancient Visitor Center from Jurassic Park is probably the most intense scene in the series. The first time the mutant appears, her crimson eye is lurking at Owen and Claire through a hole. After this, the Indominus tries to frighten off Claire and Owen by jump-scaring them and subsequently the viewers.
  • The Indominus Rex's first scenes are very scary. The Indominus only has the bones of her sibling strewn about, which she makes an enraged face with, and the sides of her pen have crazy etches of her killing people. When the Indominus breaks free from her pen, she does this by sticking her fists through the door, curling her fingers around the end in an incredibly creepy manner, all accompanied by scary music.
  • In general, the Indominus Rex acts uncannily humanoid, unlike her counterpart in the movie, most notably when she lobs a car at Zach and beats a tree down as a person would.
  • The Velociraptors are still extremely scary despite being LEGO figures and have many jump-scares where they surprise attack characters, up to and including children like Lex, Tim, and Kelly.
  • The entirety of Restoring Power is creepy, as it begins with Ellie and Muldoon going through a dark control room where a raptor sneaks about. After this, Ellie and Muldoon going through a rainforest where they get battered by velociraptors many times. When the raptor fails her ambushes, she screams in a humanlike manner.
  • The entirety of the video where Tim and Lex try to flee the raptors in the kitchen is super unsettling and effectively a horror Brickfilm.
  • During the video in which the velociraptors have teamed up with the Indominus Rex, there is a scene where Claire and the boys are in an ambulance, talking to one another. The trio hears rustling on the door and a raptor's eye peers through an opening in the door, followed by a bloody jumpscare.
  • The Spinosaurus has no irises, meaning its eyes are just a dull, unnerving beige.
