Everyone 1998 Games with this rating contain content which the ESRB believes is suitable for a general audience; they can contain infrequent use of mild/cartoon violence and mild language. Everyone 10 and Older March 2005 Games with this rating contain content which the ESRB

believes is suitable for those aged 10 years and older. They can contain a great amount of violence, mild language, crude humor, or innuendo content than the standard "Everyone" rating can accommodate, but not to the same extent as the "Teen" rating.

The majority of AO-rated games are "sex and nudity" video games with porn content: the ESRB has seldom issued the AO rating solely for violence.

  • Lyrics - Mild references to bad language, human sexuality, violence, alcohol or drug use in music
  • Mature Humor - Depictions or dialogue involving "adult" humor, including sexual references
  • Nudity - Graphic or prolonged depictions of nudity
  • Partial Nudity - Brief and/or mild depictions of nudity
  • Real Gambling - Player can gamble, including betting or wagering real cash or currency
  • Sexual Content - Non-explicit depictions of human sexual practice, including partial nudity
